Vintage Rod & Reel Restoration

We specialize in vintage rod and reel restoration, bringing classic fishing equipment back to life while respecting its original character. Our approach is careful and deliberate — restoring function without erasing history.
From classic reels to heirloom rods, we restore them as craftsmen once did: patiently, thoughtfully, and with deep respect for the original build.
Fishing Rod Repair & Select Reel Service
When something breaks, it deserves more than a quick fix.
Our primary repair focus is fishing rods: replacing damaged guides and tip tops, repairing handles and reel seats, rewrapping guides, refinishing older rods, and helping anglers keep a good rod in service for years to come.
We also offer limited reel service for selected saltwater, vintage, collectible, and higher-quality reels. Reel work is accepted by appointment and evaluation only.
We are not a high-volume repair shop. Every job is evaluated individually, and we accept only the work we can complete properly without rushing.
If a repair isn’t worth doing, we’ll tell you. If it can be done right, we’ll do it properly.

Goose Creek Rods repairs all make and models of freshwater and saltwater fishing reels including freshwater spinning reels and all saltwater reels.
We get great satisfaction from restoring old, antique vintage fishing rods and reels as close as possible to the original factory design.
