Service and Repair Policy

Service & Repair Policy

To provide timely, professional service and maintain efficient shop operations, the following policies apply to all rod and reel service, repair, and restoration work.

Service Charges

Standard service labor charges are due when equipment is checked in for service. This secures your place in our service queue and allows work to begin promptly.

Replacement Parts

If replacement parts are required, customers will be notified and approval will be obtained before any parts are ordered. Payment for parts is required prior to ordering.

Additional Repairs

Occasionally, issues may be discovered during disassembly and inspection that were not apparent when equipment was received. If additional repairs are recommended, customers will be contacted for authorization before any additional charges are incurred.

Pickup of Completed Work

Customers will be notified when service is complete. We ask that completed equipment be picked up within 14 days of notification.

Our Commitment

At Goose Creek Rods, every rod and reel receives careful attention, thorough inspection, and professional workmanship. These policies help us maintain an organized workflow and provide the highest quality service to every customer.

Rod Breakage

Fishing rods may contain hidden damage that is not visible during intake. Goose Creek Rods is not responsible for blank failure resulting from pre-existing damage, manufacturing defects, age, misuse, impact damage, high-sticking, or other conditions beyond our control. Normal inspection, guide alignment, static load testing, and repair procedures may reveal previously undetected damage. In the event a blank fails during the repair process due to such conditions, the customer will be notified immediately to discuss available options.

Thank you for choosing Goose Creek Rods.
