Return Shipping (To You):
Unless otherwise requested, Goose Creek Rods utilizes UPS Ground for rod shipping and USPS Priority Mail for reel shipments. Please tell us how much insurance you want on the package and whether or not a signature is required. Goose Creek Rods is NOT RESPONSIBLE for lost or stolen packages. We will work with the shipping company to try and locate your package and we will file a claim for you. But GCR is not responsible for the package once it leaves our facility. We would advise that you carry plenty of insurance and that a signature is required for delivery.
Shipping (To US):
If shipping rods, we suggest using a sewer-grade PVC tube and PVC caps. Some have wrapped the rod(s) in a foam pool noodle and then slide that inside the PVC tube. Secure the caps with clear shipping tape and ALWAYS include your name, cell phone and any notes about the project. If shipping a reel, just pack the box with foam and plenty of packing material. Pack it as if you expect it to be abused during shipping because it probably will. Add plenty of insurance.
