Goose Creek Rods is a small, appointment-only workshop in Indian Trail, North Carolina, specializing in custom surf and inshore fishing rods, fishing-rod repair and refurbishing, vintage rod and reel restoration, and carefully selected GCR Certified refurbished equipment.

After serving anglers since 2016, we have refined our focus to the work that best reflects the Goose Creek Rods tradition of quality, personal service, and old-fashioned craftsmanship.

Goose Creek Rods no longer accepts routine customer reel cleaning, maintenance, troubleshooting, or general reel repair. Selected vintage and collectible reels may still be considered as part of a restoration project.

We also acquire and restore selected used rods and reels for resale. Every item offered through the GCR Certified Refurbished program is individually evaluated, serviced as needed, tested, and represented honestly.

We are not a production repair shop. Every rod, restoration, and custom build is completed by hand and accepted according to available shop capacity.
