FAQ

Can I return an item?

Rods blanks are contingent on the manufacturer’s warranty. Some manufacturers offer 100% warranty replacement, you pay only shipping of the replacement blank. Others have a small replacement fee. We will not charge labor to rebuild a broken custom rod for the first rod. We will try to reuse any materials from the broken rod as we can. The customer is responsible for components we cannot salvage.

How can I pay for my order?

We prefer cash or Zelle payments. We can accept Debit, Visa, MasterCard for your convenience. A $3.5% processing fee is added for debit/credit card fees.

How long does it take to build my custom rod?

Delivery times will depend on how long it takes your custom rod components to arrive, the amount and type of customizations requested and the number of in-house jobs ahead of it. Once all the components have arrived,  your project will be scheduled into the current workflow. It is impossible to determine an accurate turnaround time, but rest assured, your project will be finished in the order it was received and it will be well worth the wait.

Once we start on a rod, the average turnaround time is around 2 weeks for a custom rod without custom wrapping and 4 weeks for rods with custom wraps.

How much does a custom rod cost?

Cost is determined by a number of factors, including the make, model and style of rod blank, type of guides, reel seats, handles and how much customization (custom wrapping, custom components, etc), is needed and approximately how long it will take for us to complete the job. So each rod is priced individually.
