Return Shipping (To You):

Once your package leaves our facility, the only updates available to us are the same tracking details you receive. For more information or to initiate a trace, please contact USPS or FedEx directly, as they can open an internal investigation that may help locate or move the shipment.

Unless additional coverage is requested, packages are insured for up to $100. After a shipment departs our shop, delivery is handled entirely by the carrier and is outside of our control. Goose Creek Rods is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen in transit.

We will choose the most cost-effective and secure shipping method for your rod or reel based on your location. Please let us know your desired insurance amount and whether you would like a signature required upon delivery. We strongly recommend purchasing additional insurance and requiring a signature for added protection.

Shipping (To US):

When shipping rods, we recommend using a heavy-duty PVC (sewer-grade) tube with secure PVC end caps. Some customers wrap the rod in a foam pool noodle before placing it inside the tube for extra protection. Tape the caps securely with clear shipping tape and always include your name, cell phone number, and any notes about the project inside the package.

For reels, pack the original box (or a sturdy replacement box) with ample foam and protective packing material. Assume the package will be handled roughly during transit and pack accordingly. We also recommend adding sufficient insurance to cover the full value of your shipment.
